Walking on the narrow trail, the only sounds were the nature around me and my own breathing. One step. Then another. The hikes end would lead me to a beautiful view upon a rock. Suddenly, I stopped. There was a fork in the path. Which way do I go? I had a map Tri folded in my backpack. Sipping water to refill my energy well I carefully pulled the flaps of the crumpled paper open. One portion of the road would lead me back to the start taking me in a big loop. The other up higher to the viewpoint that would be aweing. Not wanting to go backwards I tossed the items back in my bag and zipped it up. Hoisting it on its place in the middle of my back. I took the path off to the right. This one would keep me moving forward. There was no time to look backward where I had already come. It might be more difficult than the other, but the end result would be a reward of great victory.
