I love Nora Roberts voice in her writing. Her books are easy for me to get lost in and I have been a fan for years. In this story the woman character is Shane. Shane’s first impression on her neighbor Vance isn’t a good one. Vance moved to the rural area to escape business. When Shane assumes he is in need of work, and a contractor she hires him. As he helps her build her antique store/museum he finds that this girl has left a lasting impression on him. This story is a great, sweet, love story.

Debbie Macomber is another favorite author. This story has a bit of everything intertwined. It had lessons of love, forgiveness, and living dreams Three generations of women go on a road trip to Florida. The daughter was jilted by her boyfriend who decides to take a trip to Europe without her. The mother has a big decision to make regarding her ex-husband or moving on for good. The grandmother has dreamed of driving across country for awhile. She finds that a bad event in the past doesn’t always mean bad things in the present. My favorite quote from this book was “Unclench your cost of anger so that you can fill your palm with happiness

Recently, I learned that Harlequin has different series, one being the Love inspired collection. These books are not like the ordinary old harlequin, heated hunky men love stories. These stories are clean reads.Which is sometimes what you need, a well written clean romance.  In this Christmas story, a mother with a sketchy past struggles with her son. She worries that he may be wrapped up in something very dangerous. In steps the basketball coach, who soon cozies up to her son in order to gain his trust. Then while figuring out the mystery her son is hiding, coach and mom fall in love.
