Favorite Youtubers

youtube

The past few years the kids and I have really become avid youtube viewers. Youtube has taken the place of those nonsense tv shows for us. We do still watch some Hulu and Netflix shows. However, youtube has become the primary way we entertain ourselves while enjoying screentime. The people and families I am going to share all have one main thing in common. That fact is that they all are REAL. In today’s world, many people have a facebook /Instagram mask on. You can use filters to hide that pimple or to brighten up the background. When videoing it is a little bit more difficult to hide behind a mask. It is still done though. Through watching more youtube you can definitely see through the fakeness or clickbait videos. These channels have become people I occasionally chat with on social media formats. They message back or like my post I share. Which totally makes me feel like a celebrity has reached out. One of my favorite features about youtube is the lives. They are filmed in real time and as I view I can actually chat with my internet friends as the kids like to say. These channels are not listed in any particular order. I just wanted to share a few of my personal favorites. If you are looking for something to watch that will entertain, bring joy and laughter during your screen time these are great suggestions.

The first channel I would love to share is called Phillip’s Fam Bam. The name of this channel says so much to describe their channel.  They are a family of seven from Las Vegas. You might be thinking “oh they are from Las Vegas, probably full of themselves.” Wrong! This family is so down to earth. They post every day. They vlog, share hauls, challenges and just video life. I have laughed so hard during some of their videos. Sometimes they make you cry. Especially, recently when Ashlynn ( the oldest daughter) was talking about her relationship with her father.  This family is guaranteed to bring joy to your life.  So, go “choose your day” and go enjoy meeting and watching a great family in action

Next up is Lemonade Mom:

She actually has two channels  One is just Lemonade Mom and the other is her vlog channel. Vanessa is the name of Mrs. lemonade Mom. First of all, she is a fellow Texas girl. She is a mother of four children and happily married. She has beautiful twin girls, a young son and a very creative teenage daughter. Vanessa is the main person in charge of the camera and channel. Recently, her family decided to temporarily move into a “tiny” home. She plans on sharing how everyone adapts to this move including all her animals. I feel like I am on the journey too as she shares her vlogs and I am rooting for the family, and excited for what the future holds for them. I have attended several live sessions with her and her husband  Mark. They too are real with what they share. Sometimes, it isn’t great news like several years ago they decided to share a loss of a job.  They communicate with the many comments coming through and seem to genuinely enjoy their “job”.  Lemonade mom brings a little sunshine into life daily as she alternates between posting on both channels. She does a great job of keeping up with them and coming up with content for me and others to enjoy. It really is the little things in life.

This is Kiera’s channel. She is originally from New York I believe. She is a mother of three and shares lots of in the kitchen videos. I think her favorite thing to do is a grocery shop. She inspires my grocery list or meal plan ideas more often than not. One time she even inspired my four-year-old to want to go to Chuckie Cheese.  Some of her videos are “what’s for dinner” “what’s in my son’s lunch, grocery shopping at several different places, including my favorite Wal-Mart. Kiera and I have spoken through facebook and it really makes me feel like a celebrity just messaged me. I have share things I see online I think she might be interested, such as a unicorn themed wine as she enjoys party planning and hosting. I enjoy her authenticity as she talks about mom struggles, suggests great items through her empty videos. It is like a friend came for a visit to watch her great videos.

Last but not least is She’s in Her Apron. I have been watching Kimmie’s channel the longest. I discovered her while searching for ways to manage anxiety. She is a mother of 4,  who openly talks about struggles not only anxiety, motherhood, and life in general. She shares  Motivation Monday videos, vlogs, in the kitchen videos and much more. Recently, she even shared the decision to get a puppy while knowing the brunt of the work would end up on her shoulders. She is the queen of freezer meals and sh great cook who has given me several recipe ideas.   Who needs a cape when you have an apron?  She inspires me to put on my apron and get things done.

So, if you are in the need of something new to entertain you  or the whole family, or listen to while you do chores. Head over to the great youtube channels. It is great family entertainment and will make time fly.
